Nine scholarships are available to Hillsborough County high school seniors through a partnership between the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation and Hillsborough Education Foundation.

The Suncoast Credit Union Scholars program targets Class of 2027 graduates who demonstrate financial need, academic promise and a passion for learning, according to an announcement from Hillsborough Education Foundation.

Eligible students must live in Hillsborough County and attend school in the county, including students at Lennard High School and East Bay High School.

The application deadline is Jan. 31, 2027.

How to apply

Students can apply through a single general application on the Hillsborough Education Foundation's scholarship page. The application system matches students with scholarships they may qualify for and prompts additional short-answer questions for certain awards.

Applications opened Oct. 1, and students can make changes to submitted applications through the Jan. 31 deadline.
