C.A.R.E. fundraiser pairs rock music and comedy on July 27

Rock & Roll for Rescue, a live rock music and comedy fundraiser, benefits C.A.R.E. (Critter Adoption and Rescue Effort, Inc.) on Monday, July 27. All proceeds support the volunteer-run, no-kill shelter at 1528 27th St. SE in Ruskin, which houses 40 to 60 dogs and cats.

C.A.R.E. receives no government funding and relies entirely on donations, adoption fees, fundraisers, and grants, according to the shelter's July/August 2026 newsletter.
