Waterset plans Food Truck Fest, three board meetings in September

Waterset hosts a Food Truck Fest from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at The Lakeside in the Apollo Beach community.

The next morning brings Cars & Coffee, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12, from 8 to 10 a.m. at The Landing, 7012 Sail View Ln.

Both events anchor a busy September on the Waterset community calendar that also includes three Community Development District (CDD) board meetings open to homeowners.

Three CDD meetings in two weeks

The Waterset Central CDD holds a special meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m. at The Waterset Club, 7231 Paradiso Dr. The official CDD website labels the session a "special meeting," though no agenda has been posted.

The Waterset South CDD board meets the following day, Thursday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. at the Rizzetta & Company office, 2700 S. Falkenburg Rd., Suite 2745, in Riverview. Rizzetta manages all three Waterset CDDs. District Manager Stephanie DeLuna can be reached at 813-533-2950.

The Waterset North CDD meets Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 6 p.m. at The Landing. That evening session is the only one of the three scheduled after work hours.

No agenda items for any of the three September meetings have been published.

Yoga, knitting and committee meetings round out the month

Coleen McGrath leads outdoor yoga sessions at The Landing on Sunday, Sept. 13, and Sunday, Sept. 20, both starting at 8:30 a.m. Residents can contact McGrath at 813-244-0274.

Michele Kamp hosts a knitting group at The Landing on Thursday, Sept. 3, and Wednesdays, Sept. 9, 16 and 23, from 1 to 3 p.m.

The Design Review Committee meets Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 6 p.m. in the Gathering Room. The Compliance Committee follows on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 5:30 p.m. in the same room.
